Hi5 Performance Texas Shows Strong Pace at TSRS KartMoto

Hi5 Performance Texas continued its strong 2026 Texas Sprint Racing Series campaign at KartMoto, fielding drivers across Micro Swift, Mini Swift, LO206 Cadet, and KA100 Masters. The weekend produced front-running pace throughout the team, several strong drives through the field, and another podium result as Hi5 drivers continued building momentum late in the TSRS season.

Micro Swift

Jude HendricksonP5 53.708s

Jude Hendrickson delivered an impressive performance in his first major race weekend. Hendrickson showed competitive pace from the beginning of the weekend but faced adversity during qualifying when contact dropped him to eighth. He responded immediately, racing his way forward in each heat and climbing as high as fourth. In the main event, Jude put together his strongest drive of the weekend and crossed the line in third position. A post-race penalty resulting from a racing incident moved him to fifth in the official results. Despite the final classification, the weekend marked a major step forward for Jude and included his first on-track podium finish at this level. His speed, composure, and ability to race forward throughout the weekend made a strong impression in his first major event.

Mini Swift

Sebastian SampsonP2 53.596s

Sebastian Sampson once again demonstrated why he continues to be one of Hi5 Performance Texas' strongest young competitors. Sampson showed excellent speed throughout the weekend and delivered when it mattered most in the main event, racing to an outstanding second-place finish. His consistency and race pace kept him among the leaders throughout the event and earned Hi5 another podium at KartMoto.

Jacob DohertyP10 54.497s

Jacob Doherty continued gaining valuable experience in a competitive Mini Swift field, finishing the weekend in 10th position. Jacob continued progressing throughout the event and added another important race weekend to his development with Hi5.

Marshall Steves IIIP11 53.487s

The final result did not reflect Marshall Steves III's performance or pace. Marshall recorded the fastest lap among the Hi5 Mini Swift drivers and was running in third position before becoming caught up in an incident that ended his run at the front. Despite the finishing position, his speed was among the best in the field all weekend.

LO206 Cadet

Hi5 fielded three drivers in the highly competitive LO206 Cadet division.

Marshall Steves IIIP4 55.669s

Marshall led the Hi5 effort with a strong fourth-place finish. He showed excellent pace throughout the weekend and came away just outside of the podium positions.

Sebastian SampsonP9 56.618s

Sebastian added another solid result to his weekend with a ninth-place finish in LO206 Cadet while competing in multiple classes.

Jacob DohertyP11 56.446s

Jacob completed his double-duty weekend with an 11th-place result, continuing to gain valuable seat time and race experience across both Mini Swift and LO206 Cadet.

KA100 Masters

The Hi5 Performance Texas KA100 Masters program continued to show strength with four drivers competing at KartMoto.

Daniel HowieP2 50.908s

Daniel Howie led the team with another excellent performance, finishing second in the main event. Howie's 50.908 best lap was also the quickest among the Hi5 Masters drivers, continuing a season defined by front-running speed and consistent championship-level performances.

Kogan WrightP7 50.917s

Kogan Wright finished seventh while posting a 50.917 best lap, only nine thousandths of a second behind Howie's fastest lap. His pace demonstrated the strength and consistency of the Hi5 Masters package throughout the weekend.

Mathew CherryP8 51.190s

Mathew Cherry brought home an eighth-place finish and continued his steady progression in the competitive Masters field.

Scott CherryP10 51.257s

Scott Cherry completed the Hi5 Masters lineup with a 10th-place finish, giving the team four drivers inside the top 10.

Building Momentum

KartMoto was another weekend that demonstrated the depth of the Hi5 Performance Texas program. From Jude Hendrickson's impressive debut in Micro Swift, to podium performances from Sebastian Sampson and Daniel Howie, to Marshall Steves showing front-running pace across two classes, the team continued to prove that its drivers have the speed to compete at the front of the TSRS field.

Just as important as the results is the continued development of every driver under the Hi5 tent. Hi5 Performance Texas remains focused on providing its drivers with the equipment, coaching, data analysis, preparation, and trackside support necessary to compete for wins and championships while continuing to develop their racecraft every weekend.
